Process patient billing and collections using Epic and other software to manage receivables for Southcoast Hospitals Group;
Review and analyze billing and denial information to determine appropriate actions;
Contact insurers, employers, patients and hospital departments to resolve outstanding balances;
Assist with coding-related tasks and verifying CPT/HCPCS/ICD information as needed;
Maintain accurate and organized billing records and documentation
