Brandon Woods of New Bedford is a 135-bed skilled nursing center located in the scenic downtown area of the historic city of New Bedford. We have been family owned and operated, servicing the health care needs of seniors for nearly 50 years. We specialize in Short Term Care, Long Term Care, Rehabilitation and Sub-acute Care. Our facility also hosts Senior Transportation.

Brandon Woods of New Bedford is seeking an energetic Licensed Nurse RN or LPN to uphold our high standards for senior care!

Job Summary:
  • Participation in the nursing process by sharing in assessment of patients, planning of patient care, implementing the patient care plan, and evaluating patient care.
  • Accepting doctor’s orders, transcribing doctor’s orders and making rounds with physicians.
  • Ordering medications according to facility procedure, doing narcotic count according to regulation, auditing physician orders and medications as assigned.
  • Administering medications and treatments as ordered.
Qualifications:
  • EDUCATION:

    Graduation from an accredited, approved school of nursing. Current registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
  • TRAINING AND

    EXPERIENCE:

    Will receive in-service training in special areas.
