Director of National Accounts and Merchandising

Acushnet Company is seeking a Director of National Accounts and Merchandising to drive growth, elevate brand presence, and deliver premium product experiences across top retail and eCommerce channels.

• Build and grow strategic partnerships with national retailers and leading eCommerce platforms.
• Develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue and expand market share across all channels.
• Oversee forecasting, investment planning, and brand optimization for Amazon, Zappos, and other pure‑play accounts.
• Define long‑term category strategies to ensure Foot Joy’s leadership in golf footwear, gloves, and apparel.
• Deliver premium merchandising experiences through SKU rationalization, seasonal planning, and exclusive offerings.
• Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to bring consumer insights to life in assortments and activations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in national account management, merchandising, or sales within footwear, sports, or retail.
• Proven ability to develop long‑term category strategies and drive revenue growth.
• Experience managing eCommerce pure‑play accounts and omnichannel retail strategies.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
• Expertise in sales forecasting, demand planning, and performance reporting.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to collaborate across departments.
