Full-Time | Outside Sales Position

$55,000-$65,000 Base + Bonus + Commission + Company Vehicle

Disaster Specialists is looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to expand our presence throughout Southeast Massachusetts and Cape Cod.

You’ll spend your time in the field meeting decision‑makers, developing referral partnerships, networking, and building long‑term business relationships that drive growth.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be responsible for developing and growing a sales territory through relationship‑based business development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building relationships with property managers, facility managers, insurance professionals, contractors, plumbers, HVAC companies, and business owners
  • Prospecting and developing new referral partnerships
  • Conducting face‑to‑face meetings throughout the territory
  • Attending networking events, chamber meetings, and industry functions
  • Following up consistently and maintaining activity within CRM
  • Working closely with company leadership to convert opportunities into long‑term business relationships

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in prospecting and building new business opportunities.
  • Holds a valid driver's license and is able to drive daily for self‑set appointments within the assigned territory.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of sales or business development experience, ideally in outside sales, territory sales, account management, or business development.
  • Experience with structured, referral‑based business development and building referral partnerships with insurance professionals and contractors.
  • Experience selling to property managers and facility managers, with additional experience calling on plumbers and HVAC companies a plus.
  • Comfortable using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and mobile sales apps.
