Low-Voltage Service Technician

Day shift, overtime, and company vehicle are offered. Salary: $25–$40 per hour.

We are a nationwide provider of commercial door, dock, and security access solutions, supporting facilities across a wide range of industries. Our teams install, repair, and maintain critical systems such as overhead doors, loading docks, gates, grilles, and access control systems that keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Service technician experience within security, low-voltage, locksmith, or similar access-control/service environments preferred.

• Running, terminating, and testing wiring (Cat6, coax, fiber, etc.)
• Installing and servicing fire‑alarm systems
• Installing and servicing CCTV / security systems
• Installing and servicing access control
• Installing and servicing low voltage electrical systems
• Installing doors, gates, and related systems (location dependent)
• Reading blueprints and schematics
• Troubleshooting issues and getting systems back online
• Testing panels and devices
• Ensuring installs are clean, safe, and up to code
• Communicating with customers on‑site

2–3+ years (ideally more) of experience in low voltage, electrical, fire alarm, security systems or a similar hands‑on trade.

• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Valid driver’s license

• Fire alarm experience (NICET is a plus)
• Fiber or advanced wiring experience
• Overhead door or gate system experience (especially in Ohio)
• OSHA 10 or 30

• $25–$35 per hour, some locations up to $40 per hour depending on experience
• Overtime – 1.5x standard overtime and double time on Sundays and holidays
