Compensation: $24.00–$28.00 per hour – paid weekly

Schedule: 1st shift | Monday–Thursday

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-time

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Welder workers for a fabric building manufacturing company in Fairhaven, MN. In this role, you’ll work with a growing team to produce high?quality building components while operating welding equipment in a clean, safety?focused environment. • Operate manual and semi?automatic welding equipment (GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SMAW, etc.)
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
• Clamp, tack, grind, heat?bend, or bolt parts into required positions
• Monitor weld processes to avoid overheating, distortion, and material warping
• Inspect finished welds for defects and verify measurements using templates and straightedges
• Use various welding trade tools, including gas metal arc and shielded metal arc equipment
• Lay out and properly align parts before assembly using measuring tools

• High School Diploma or GED
• Welding certification or welding trade school background (per employer requirements)
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and work with hand tools for the entire shift
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly (with or without accommodations)
• Strong attention to safety and proper PPE use
