Service Technician

Overhead Door / Dock Equipment Technician – Daily shift, overtime, company vehicle.

This position is hosted by Jillian Morgan. Salary: $25 – $40 per hour.

• Installation, service, and repair of overhead doors (commercial and industrial)
• Loading dock equipment (levelers, seals, restraints)
• Garage doors and operators
• Security gates and grilles
• Mechanical and electrical components tied to door systems

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues
• Performing preventative maintenance and inspections
• Installing new systems and replacing components
• Working from work orders, schematics, and manuals
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and up to code
• Communicating with customers on‑site

2+ years of experience with:

• Overhead doors
• Dock equipment
• Garage doors
• OR a similar mechanical/electrical trade
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Basic electrical troubleshooting ability
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Valid driver’s license

• Experience with dock levelers, edge‑of‑dock units, or restraints
• Welding or fabrication experience
• Experience with access control or low voltage systems
• OSHA 10 or 30

• $25–$35 per hour (some locations up to $40 per hour depending on experience)
• Overtime: 1.5x standard overtime, double time on Sundays and holidays, some locations offer on‑call bonus plans
