As our organization continues to grow, we are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to help lead the financial future of the organization alongside executive leadership.

This is not simply a finance management role — this is a key executive leadership position reporting directly to the CEO and partnering closely with senior leadership and the Board.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a mission‑driven financial leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys building, improving, and leading systems that support organizational growth.

The ideal candidate brings strong nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, or grant‑funded financial leadership experience and understands the operational realities of organizations supported by government contracts, grants, and managed care funding.

We welcome experienced nonprofit finance leaders who are ready to step into a CFO‑level executive role.

Financial oversight across multiple affiliated entities and programs

Grant and contract financial management, including compliance and reporting

Accounting operations, treasury, cash flow management, and internal controls

Audit preparation, tax filings, regulatory reporting, and GAAP compliance

Executive and Board‑level financial reporting and presentations

Financial systems optimization, reporting improvements, and operational efficiencies

Leadership, development, and mentorship of the finance team

What You Bring

Senior financial leadership experience within nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, or mission‑driven organizations

Experience managing grant‑funded and/or government‑funded financial environments

Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, audits, compliance, and financial reporting

Experience partnering with executive leadership and presenting financial information to Boards or leadership teams

Multi‑site or multi‑entity financial oversight experience strongly preferred

Medicaid, Medicare, or managed care reimbursement familiarity is a plus

CPA preferred but not required

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required;
Master’s degree preferred

Strong leadership presence with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and strategically

Builder mindset with the ability to strengthen systems, processes, and operational structure

What We Offer

Salary: $145,000–$160,000 annually, based on experience

Medical, dental, and vision coverage

403(b) retirement plan with company match

Generous PTO and sick leave

Birthday off each year

Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing mission‑driven organization
