Nurse Residency Coordinator
White Oak Medical Center – Adventist Health Care
Responsibilities- Coordinate scheduled experiences and learning opportunities for nurse residents.
- Collaborate with managers, preceptors and educators in the orientation process for new residents.
- Coach and support development of new residents as they progress through the residency program.
- Meet regularly with residents, managers and preceptors to assess professional development and progression in RN role.
- Administer the national Vizient Nurse Residency survey at prescribed intervals.
- Develop and implement monthly classroom learning.
- Plan and coordinate events such as resident pinning and graduation.
- Oversee resident DMAIC project completion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
- Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Five years in acute care nursing.
- One year in supervisory experience preferred.
- Certification in Nursing area of specialty, nursing leadership or professional development once eligible.
- Experience in education preferred.

Salary Range$83,112.12 - $
