White Oak Medical Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Med Surg Unit who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
Responsibilities- Educate patients and family throughout the continuum of care and help them advance their knowledge and skills.
- Serve as a role model to Level I nurses and use electronic resources to support best practices in patient care.
- Demonstrate professionalism, adhere to ANA standards of practice, and exemplify Adventist Health Care values while fulfilling the nursing mission and vision.
- Use equipment and technology correctly, delegate non‑nursing duties appropriately, and maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
- Identify impending changes in patient condition accurately and initiate corrective action.
- Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient‑centered care.
- Conduct purposeful rounding from the patient and family perspective.
- Conduct efficient literature searches and apply findings appropriately to practice.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in change of practice based on evidence.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Passing score on the NCLEX.
- Minimum one year of RN experience required.
- Current Maryland State nursing license.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area.

Full‑time. - Hours per week: 36 hours.
- Typical daily schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM (3) 12‑hour shifts per week.

Yes. - Pay range: $37.00 – $55.00 per hour.
