Learning and Development Specialist

Sugaright is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to build, deliver, and continuously improve training programs across our liquid sugar manufacturing operations. In this role, you will assess skill gaps, create SOP-based curricula, and design blended learning for production, quality, safety, and logistics teams. You will facilitate classroom and hands-on training, maintain training records, and ensure compliance with regulatory and food safety requirements.

Partner with plant leaders to support onboarding, upskilling, and leadership development, driving a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement in our lean, process-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs across manufacturing, quality, safety, and logistics teams.
• Design and update SOP-based training curricula and materials.
• Develop blended learning (classroom, e-learning, and hands-on) for plant employees.
• Facilitate onboarding, cross-training, and upskilling programs.
• Maintain training schedules, records, and LMS data for compliance.
• Align training content with safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with plant and HR leadership to support development plans.
• Measure training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through targeted training.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy.
