The full-time Electric Distribution Superintendent oversees daily and large-scale operations of the City’s electrical distribution system by directing and supervising crews, coordinating projects, managing maintenance and inventory, developing budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance. A key aspect of the role involves working closely with various stakeholders to provide efficient, dependable electric service.
Minimum qualifications- 2-year vocational college degree in electrical or related field
- Journeyman Lineman Certification
- 8+ years’ experience in the provision of journeyman lineman services
- 2+ years’ supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, construction management, or related field
Successful candidates must also possess a valid driver’s license and pass a criminal background check.
