Sigma Defense is seeking a Software Engineer I to augment the core team that develops and implements a variety of computer based products for our military customers.

• 0-2 years of experience with software engineering/development using Git based tools.
• Proficiency with Python and Bash scripting in a Linux operating environment.
• Working knowledge of virtualization and containerization.
• Dev Sec Ops  and Cybersecurity background desired.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Personnel Clearance Level:

• Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
• Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.

Education Requirements (must possess one of the following):

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study.

Essential Job Duties (not all inclusive):

• Support programs related to electronic warfare systems.
• Work in a structured, multidisciplinary team environment in Fairmont, WV.
• Development of requirements and design specifications.
• Implementation of system specifications, development of test plans, and creation of testing procedures.
• System testing and installation support.
• This is an on site position, telework is not possible.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually.
