Process Safety Management; PSM Coordinator

As a Process Safety Management (PSM) Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and compliant operation of our ammonia refrigeration system and facility equipment. This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating all PSM-related activities, as well as supporting the upkeep and maintenance of our buildings, grounds, and equipment.

• Implement and maintain all elements of the Process Safety Management (PSM) program in compliance with regulatory requirements for the ammonia refrigeration system.
• Ensure the PSM program is always audit‑ready, including performing daily rounds as needed.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate all PSM‑related tasks and activities.
• Organize and document monthly PSM team meetings, including maintaining meeting minutes.
• Coordinate and ensure Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) are performed as required, and track recommendations to closure.
• Develop and update preventative maintenance procedures and operating procedures for all ammonia equipment.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to PSM procedures for all ammonia‑related projects.
• Perform upkeep, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment as needed for maintenance tasks.
• Comply with all safety regulations, prioritizing safety in all work activities.

• Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) and maintenance preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
