Compensation

Compensation Pay Range
: $11.13 - $22.00. Additional compensation includes annual and quarterly performance bonuses and premiums that may be paid in amounts varying by hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
  • Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including execution of programs such as Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.
  • Support the store manager in ensuring the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak business hours.
  • Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching and mentoring, and ensuring training is current.
  • Participate in the hiring process: completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and conducting interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to select qualified team members.
  • Ensure the telephone is answered in accordance with company policy.
  • Process buy‑online/ship‑to‑store, hub‑to‑store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner; contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
  • Use the electronic outside purchase order ledger to handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
  • Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently, issuing accurate refunds with the correct payment methods, and staging returned merchandise appropriately.
  • Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before the product leaves the store.
  • Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure team members comply with company policies, including posted work schedules, approved changes, and accurate time‑keeping.
  • Perform store opening/closing duties: day‑end procedures, securing money and deposits, preparing bank deposits, securing the building, arming/disarming security alarms, and securing the delivery vehicle(s).
  • Assist the store manager with maintenance of the store building, parking lot, exterior signage and lighting, computer hardware, in‑store service equipment, and delivery vehicles.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
