• Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Manage and support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with audit requirements
• Assist with budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and strategic financial reporting
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to support organizational goals
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, policies, and regulations

• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
• Minimum of 2–3 years of recent public accounting experience required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statement preparation, and audit processes
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Governmental accounting, public sector, or nonprofit accounting experience is a plus
