Employment TermsEmployment term: 200 days.
Hours per day: 7.
Time: 7:45am - 2:45pm (start and end times may change due to student/school need).
Salary range: C-F.
Eligibility & RegulationsAides certified as ECCAT or autism mentors and/or one‑on‑one aides are not permitted to transfer to another aide/autism mentor position until the next instructional term (year) begins.
During the first year of employment, a service employee may transfer to another position of employment only once during any one half of a school term (semester) unless approved by the county superintendent.
Aides not certified as autism mentors or one‑on‑one aides may transfer only one time per semester.
This does not prohibit aides or all other service employees from applying for positions of interest; it simply means successful applicants will be transferred only when permitted by code.
Qualifications- Minimum requirement is ECCAT certification.
- If no applicant fully meets the requirements of ECCAT, the position will be filled with the most senior person who holds an Aide III/IV classification and who is willing to obtain ECCAT credentials.
