Professional Salary Schedule - Salary based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance.

The Principal works as the instructional leader of the school under the direction of the Director and is responsible for the effective operation of all aspects of the educational program within the school.

Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional Administrative Certificate endorsed to serve as a school principal at the appropriate level. Holds a master's degree related to the public school program. Has demonstrated knowledge of federal and state-mandated initiatives, remedial techniques and reteaching models. Has demonstrated effective communication and computer skills. Has demonstrated high ethical, moral and professional standards. Demonstrated effective school administrative experience preferred.
