State of Nevada seeks Safety Specialists to promote safety practices across railways subject to state and federal laws. Roles may be located in Carson City or Las Vegas, performing inspections, investigations, and testimony for regulatory compliance. You will review grade crossings, accidents, and procedures, coordinating with FRA and other agencies.
The incumbents work under general supervision in one of several railway disciplines and may deliver public presentations to raise safety awareness.
