The purpose of this position is to provide clinical and clerical support for faculty physicians and to provide outreach to middle school, high school, and/or local sports teams.

Minimum Qualifications
Education, Certification, and/or Licensure
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or Physiology.
  • Nationally Certified Athletic Trainer.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience
  • Two years of experience in Athletic Training.
Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize Athletic Training skills to perform evaluation/assessment of patient.
  • Perform patient education and design/implement exercise program as indicated by physician or physical therapist.
  • Provide visit support to Physician or Physical Therapist during patient visit, including stretching and movement.
  • Develop customized treatment plans and make appropriate recommendations for ideal steps in athlete care.
  • Coordinate with management to maintain equipment inventory.
  • May attend sports events to provide the needed on-site care.
