• Participates in the development and evaluation of the ASN and/orBSN program
• Develops, teaches, and evaluates assigned courses
• Evaluates student performance on exams and course assignments
• Evaluates student performance in the clinical environment;including skills lab and simulation lab
• Assumes responsibility for serving as a course coordinator, as appropriate
• Coordinates clinical rotation with clinical agency and clinical adjuncts
• Teaches 12 credits per semester, includes theory, clinical, skillslab and simulation lab
• Participate in ongoing course and curriculum revision
• Performs related duties as necessary and as assigned.

• Provides engaged service at the programmatic, School, University and community levels
• Participates in course and programmatic assessment activities
• Participates in community and professional activities
• Participates in student recruitment and retention activities
• Advises currently enrolled and perspective students

• Maintains appropriate scholarly and professional development activities
• Provides expertise in the area of medical-surgical nursing

• Contributes to the continuing innovation and development of the programs in the School of Nursing
• Participates in the assessment, evaluation, and accreditation ofthe School of Nursing programs and the University
• Participates in, manage, or lead projects within the School of Nursing, and University as requested

• Masters of Science in Nursing (required or near completion)
• Doctoral degree in nursing preferred

• Unencumbered license as a Registered Professional Nurse in WV

• Unencumbered license as a Registered Professional Nurse in WV

• Minimum of two (2) years recent acute care experience with afocus in medical-surgical nursing, ICU, mental health, e.g.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Doctorate degree
• Previous teaching experience in the classroom, skills andsimulation lab
• Experience with assessment and national accreditation
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Familiarity with Blackboard Learning Management System
• Familiarity with on-line learning
• Ability to foster student learning through innovative teachingmodalities
• Ability to develop and maintain partnerships within the University, clinical agencies and profession
• Commitment to the University and School of Nursing mission
