Position: Full Time Prep Cook

We’re looking for a dependable Prep Cook to support our kitchen by preparing fresh ingredients, assisting our culinary team, and helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients and food items under the direction of the Head Chef and kitchen leadership team.
  • Wash, peel, cut, portion, and organize fresh produce for daily kitchen operations.
  • Trim, portion, and prepare meats according to recipe and kitchen standards.
  • Assist in preparing simple menu items such as salads, breads, sauces, dressings, and condiments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Support receiving and kitchen operations by assisting with unloading, inspecting, and properly storing deliveries and supplies.
  • Assist with daily cleaning responsibilities and deep‑cleaning projects to ensure kitchen cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented environment while supporting overall kitchen operations and inspecting and cleaning food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food‑handling practices.

  • Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety practices, or the willingness to learn quickly.
  • Understanding of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen procedures preferred.

  • Manual dexterity and knife skills necessary for food preparation and other kitchen duties.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Food handler training preferred.
