Concrete Finisher

Our client, a local pavement contracting company is seeking a Concrete Finisher to join their team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, dedicated and drug-free, aligning successfully within the organization.

* ** Pay Range: $14-$20*
* ** What's the Job?*
* + Spread, level and smooth concrete using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed and float.

+ Produce various final finishes on concrete surfaces based on job-specific requirements.

+ Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers and straightedge.

+ Chip, scrape and grind high spots, ridges and rough projections to finish concrete using pneumatic chisels, power grinders and hand tools.

+ Apply sealing compounds to sure surfaces on concrete.

** What's Needed?*
* + Knowledge of slump, concrete testing, additives, curing procedures, spec requirements, weather conditions and their effect on job conditions and finishing products.

+ Knowledge of proper cross slopes and acceptable tolerances of all sidewalks, ADA ramps, curbs, driveways and other structures.

+ Stretching, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, walking, standing, reaching and squatting.

+ Tolerance of a variety of weather conditions and temperatures.

+ Ability to pass a drug test

+ Must have rubber work boots
