.
- In this vital role, you won't just be supervising youth—you will be a mentor, a teacher, and a positive role model. You will help create a safe, trauma-informed environment where children and families can heal and grow. The position will be scheduled for 40 hours per week (80 hours biweekly). We are hiring for multiple shifts, so applicants may be scheduled for Day (7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.), Evening (3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.), or Overnight (11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Shift assignments will be discussed during the interview process based on program needs and applicant availability.
About the Role
As a Youth Advisor, you are the heart of our daily operations. You will build trusting relationships with youth, helping them develop essential life skills and guiding them through their daily routines.
What You’ll Do:
- Be a Role Model: Serve as a mentor, coach, and teacher for youth in our program.
- Teach Life
Skills:
Guide youth in daily activities like budgeting, meal prep, personal hygiene, and maintaining a clean living space. - Keep Youth Active: Supervise and participate in recreational activities like hiking, soccer, basketball, and camping.
- Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe environment by knowing where youth are at all times and staying alert during all shifts.
- Support Growth: Assist youth in meeting school and employment obligations and attending therapy sessions.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the clinical and case management teams to support each youth’s treatment plan.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class E driver’s license with a good driving record (able to transport clients).
- Strong customer service focus and excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field.
- Previous experience working with children and families in a trauma-informed environment.

Physical Requirements:
This role is active! You must be able to stand, walk, and move regularly. The position requires the ability to lift/move up to 10-25 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
