• Manage a specialized foster care caseload while ensuring child safety, permanency, and well-being.
• Build meaningful relationships with foster families through ongoing coaching, guidance, and support.
• Conduct monthly home visits and maintain regular contact with children and caregivers.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and permanency plans.
• Coordinate services with schools, healthcare providers, therapists, courts, and community agencies.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary team meetings and family visitation.
• Prepare timely documentation, progress reports, court reports, and electronic case records.
• Complete annual foster home reevaluations and ongoing foster family support activities.
• Participate in court proceedings and provide professional testimony when required.
• Respond to crisis situations and participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
• Support accreditation, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), and agency strategic initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
• Current West Virginia Social Work license.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel throughout assigned service areas.
• Successful completion of all required background checks.

• Experience in foster care, child welfare, behavioral health, or family services.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, child development, and permanency planning.
• Strong assessment, documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners.
