Software Engineer, Embedded Software Engineer

Sigma Defense is seeking a Software Engineer I to augment the core team that develops and implements a variety of computer based products for our military customers.

• 1-3 years of experience with software engineering and development using Git-based tools
• Proficiency with C++, Python, and Bash scripting in a Linux operating environment
• Working knowledge of virtualization and containerization
• Math or physics background desired
• Interest and understanding of RF signals and radar technologies
• Must be a U.S. citizen

• Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret clearance or higher

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study

• Support programs related to electronic warfare systems
• Work in a structured, multidisciplinary team environment
• Development of requirements and design specifications
• Implementation of developed system specifications, test plan, and procedure development
• System testing and installation support.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually
