Parts/Warehouse Associate – Fairmont, WV 26554
Casto Technical Services is a locally owned and operated, family business with over 50 years of experience serving building owners and operators.
We are looking for candidates who want a challenging career in the HVAC industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Parts)- Practice excellent safety procedures.
- Supply technicians with the proper parts and tools needed and truck stock.
- Order and purchase all new parts.
- Accept deliveries from vendors and properly enter/count in inventory.
- Work with vendors on successfully planning and purchasing parts, proper lead times to meet demands, and replenishment.
- Ensure all warranty parts are returned to vendor/supplier with appropriate documentation and credit is received.
- Operate fork truck.
– Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and use forklift.
- Organize and stage warehouse.
- Load and unload shipment of parts, supplies, and equipment as needed.
- Check‑in stock and verify against vendor documents.
- Enter receipts for verified stock in company computer system.
- Put up received stock in warehouses and showrooms.
- Report any equipment discrepancies to the parts associates.
- Package and ship hazardous materials per DOT regulations.
- Resolve problems to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekends, as required.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
- HVAC parts experience preferred.
- HVAC terminology preferred.
- Computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Excellent written or oral communication skills.
- Self‑motivated and highly organized.
- Must be dependable and arrive on time as scheduled.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
