Parts/Warehouse Associate – Fairmont, WV 26554

Casto Technical Services is a locally owned and operated, family business with over 50 years of experience serving building owners and operators.

We are looking for candidates who want a challenging career in the HVAC industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Parts)
  • Practice excellent safety procedures.
  • Supply technicians with the proper parts and tools needed and truck stock.
  • Order and purchase all new parts.
  • Accept deliveries from vendors and properly enter/count in inventory.
  • Work with vendors on successfully planning and purchasing parts, proper lead times to meet demands, and replenishment.
  • Ensure all warranty parts are returned to vendor/supplier with appropriate documentation and credit is received.
  • Operate fork truck.
Warehouse

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and use forklift.
  • Organize and stage warehouse.
  • Load and unload shipment of parts, supplies, and equipment as needed.
  • Check‑in stock and verify against vendor documents.
  • Enter receipts for verified stock in company computer system.
  • Put up received stock in warehouses and showrooms.
  • Report any equipment discrepancies to the parts associates.
  • Package and ship hazardous materials per DOT regulations.
  • Resolve problems to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or weekends, as required.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
  • HVAC parts experience preferred.
  • HVAC terminology preferred.
  • Computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Excellent written or oral communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated and highly organized.
  • Must be dependable and arrive on time as scheduled.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Physical Activities
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
