Woodwinds Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a Woodwinds Teacher to provide inspiring private and group lessons in our retail lesson studio. In this role, you'll teach students of all ages and skill levels, focusing on technique, music literacy, and performance preparation. You'll design engaging lesson plans, track student progress, and support school performances and auditions. Working closely with store staff, you'll help grow lesson enrollment while recommending quality instruments and accessories.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group woodwind lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop customized lesson plans focused on technique, music theory, and performance skills
• Prepare students for school performances, auditions, and ensemble participation
• Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment and student retention
• Maintain accurate lesson schedules, progress notes, and student communication
• Recommend appropriate instruments, accessories, and learning materials to students and parents
• Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Support Music & Arts events, recitals, and community outreach programs
