Site Civil Engineer Intern (Fall 2026)

This position will involve 40 hours per week during the Fall 2026 semester and is available at one of several locations:
Charlotte, NC;
Chicago, IL;
Cincinnati, OH;
Columbus, OH;
Dayton, OH;
Fairview Heights, IL; or Miami, FL.
Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country where the job is located. Woolpert does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
What You Will Do- Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
- Apply hydrology and stormwater management knowledge to site projects.
- Prioritize workflow, multitask, and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with the project management team to identify impediments and develop solutions.
- Perform pavement assessments and compile data and reports.
- Execute other duties as assigned.
- Enrollment or recent graduation in a BS program in Civil Engineering.
- Zero to two years of related experience.
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Preferred experience in hydraulics and hydrology.
- Workfare occasionally in the field, frequent local travel, and overnight travel as needed.

CompensationBase pay offered: $23.00 – $27.00 USD per hour.
