Commercial Loan Officer

This individual will be responsible for developing and managing a loan portfolio while ensuring a smooth, efficient experience from application through closing. The ideal candidate understands not just how to generate business, but how loans move through the system and what it takes to get them done right.

• Develop and maintain relationships with individuals and businesses in the local market
• Originate, structure, and manage a variety of loan types, including consumer and commercial
• Guide clients through the lending process, providing a high level of service and communication
• Partner closely with credit and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate loan processing
• Maintain a strong understanding of internal processes, documentation requirements, and compliance standards
• Monitor and manage an existing loan portfolio, including renewals and risk identification
• Support the overall growth and reputation of the bank within the community

• Experience in lending within a community bank or similar environment
• Strong working knowledge of loan processing, documentation, and operational workflows
