Metal Casting Worker
Express Employment is actively hiring for Metal Casting Workers in the Belleville and Swansea, IL areas!
Our client located in a 45,000 square foot facility is hiring dedicated employees for their metal casting business. Producing commercial nonferrous castings for over 100 years, they want to add to their crew to continue producing quality items for their customers.

Location:
Swansea and Belleville, IL Pay: $19/hr-$20/hr, BOE Position type:
Full Time, Evaluation Hire Shift: Monday-Friday, Afternoon and Overnight Shifts available! Benefits Available to Express Associates:

Job Responsibilities of a Metal Casting Worker:
- Using a sand molding machine to pour molten metals
- Knocking out molds and castings
- Operating heavy machinery on an as needed basis
- Ability to acquire and maintain knowledge to correctly set up risers for various sand molds
- Clean castings and patterns
- Complete the job safely
- Any other job duties as assigned
Job Requirements of a Metal Casting Worker:
- 1+ years of previous metal grinding experience or working in a related field
- 1+ years of experience in heavy general labor, construction
- Previous metal and foundry experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Withstand a hot environment
- Lifting up to 50lbs repetitively
- Comfortable working around hot liquid metal
- Ability to bend, twist, squat
Work Environments of a Metal Casting Worker:
Manufacturing environment that includes loud noise, heat and dirt; steel toed boots required.
