We are seeking dedicated team members to fill full‑time or part‑time positions with open availability. The schedule typically runs from 30 minutes before opening to one hour after closing, offering flexible shifts throughout the week.

Bio Life Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations.

You will determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results. The Medical Support Specialist works under the guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager) for operational guidance and under the management of the Center Physician for medical issues. You will be familiar with regulations of the plasma collection industry and will follow guidance from Bio Life Medical Affairs, providing center‑level support for environmental, health and safety (EHS).

• Determine donor eligibility; manage informed consent, AIDS education, self‑exclusion, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review serological protein electrophoresis (SPE).
• Evaluate donor reactions per SOPs. Follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including development of Center Physician standing orders and donor transport.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or guidance concerning medical/technical issues, donor safety and eligibility.
• Support the Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and determine further evaluation by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance on incidents.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations of pandemic threats.

• High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements.
• Currently licensed or certified in the state of assignment (e.g., EMT‑Paramedic).
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

U.S. hourly wage range: $24.32 – $33.44. U.S. employees receive up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
