- Previous rent‑to‑own and/or retail home furnishing experience desirable, but not necessary.
- 2–4 years of supervisory or management experience (hiring and developing employees) in a retail environment preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that complies with organizational standards.
- Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
- Ensure employee engagement and motivation while fostering a positive workplace and culture.
- Maximize store performance and efficiency through proper hiring, scheduling, training, performance management (coaching/discipline), mentoring initiatives.
- Oversee store security, cash, financials, marketing initiatives, deliverables, record keeping, legal requirements, and reporting activities.
- Oversee inventory control; ensure merchandise is clean, attractive, organized.
- Identify current and future customer requirements to stay responsive to market demands.
- Maintain the stability and reputation of the Rent One brand within the community you serve.
- Any other ad‑hoc tasks and/or responsibilities that may arise during daily operations.
