Store Manager
Reporting to the District Manager, the Store Manager leads day‑to‑day operations of a single store to achieve sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory control, brand representation and team growth. The role focuses on personal selling, leadership, coaching and creating a people‑first environment that delivers a best‑in‑class customer experience.
Responsibilities- Oversee all sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction metrics, ensuring targets are met.
- Coach, develop and manage store staff to maintain brand standards, visual merchandising, and excellent customer service.
- Train staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer outreach to resolve issues and drive repeat business.
- Analyze sales reports, identify trends and opportunities, and develop strategies to maximize team and personal sales.
- Coordinate store inventory, merchandising, purchasing, repairs and store appearance to reflect brand excellence.
- Plan, schedule and manage staff coverage, including opening/closing shifts and weekend/holiday coverage.
- Maintain a people‑first culture that supports diversity, equity, inclusion and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, safety standards and department regulations.
- Minimum of 2 years of college experience (preferred).
- At least 3 years of retail sales experience, or 2 years of sales plus 1 year of retail management experience. Preference for specialty retail or jewelry background.
- DCA (Diamond Council of America) certification preferred.
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal; proficiency in MS Office and other business tools.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for training and customer engagements.
- Conflict management, problem‑solving and organizational abilities with independent initiative.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Base pay ranging from $50,000 to $67,800, plus commission on sales. Final pay determined based on experience and qualifications.
Physical DemandsJob requires standing, reaching, moving between display cases, lifting up to 10lb, and operating on a schedule that includes weekends, evenings, holidays and extended hours. Travel for training or business meetings may be required.
