Commercial Construction Superintendent
Compensation: $110,000 - $140,000 per year.

Fairview, NJ. Status:
On-site, Permanent.
Project Superintendent with 5‑10 years of experience responsible for daily on‑site planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, communication, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards on one or more projects.
Responsibilities- Safety: Promote job site safety, enforce company safety policy, conduct safety inspections, and hold personnel accountable for safety compliance.
- Schedule: Maintain weekly construction schedule; manage material orders, inspections, and updates with Project Manager; forecast and track material, equipment, and subcontractor needs.
- Jobsite: Erect job sign, coordinate construction activities, maintain orderly job site and office, supervise daily field operations to ensure safety, progress, and quality.
- Core Responsibilities: Direct field personnel to meet schedule and budget; develop comprehensive understanding of project strategy; troubleshoot and resolve issues; comply with contractual obligations; verify subcontractor licensing and insurance; manage timecards.
- Communication: Deliver weekly project updates to Owner(s), Project Manager, and President; identify and address constructability issues; maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders; review RFIs; report major problems; participate in scope and schedule reviews.
- Project Closeout: Supervise punch list completion; review punch list process; assist in preparing project closeout manual; ensure client expectations are exceeded.
- Actively participate in training and mentoring of assistant superintendents and crew members.
- 5‑10 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
- Strong knowledge of construction schedules, budgeting, safety, and quality control.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.
