Job Description
Seeking a Network Technician / Fiber Engineer to support and maintain fiber optic and telecommunications network infrastructure. This is a hands-on role involving network troubleshooting, fiber testing, equipment installation, maintenance, and service restoration activities across transport and IP network environments.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and maintain fiber optic and telecom network equipment.
- Perform network testing, installation, provisioning, and maintenance activities.
- Support fiber transport, Ethernet, SONET, and IP network technologies.
- Assist with network restoration and outage response.
- Perform preventive maintenance on network and critical infrastructure equipment.
- Maintain inventory, tools, test equipment, and related documentation.
- Update maintenance records, work logs, and trouble tickets.
