Security Officer Visitor Control

As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Fairview, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer supporting a dynamic tech and telecommunications location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

* Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting details through appropriate channels.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.

* Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and communicate with staff and/or guests regarding entry requirements and site expectations.

* Support a professional environment within a technology-focused location by observing sensitive work areas, reporting suspicious behavior, and/or assisting with security-related requests from site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
