Located in NE Portland

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 DOE

• Senior‑level role with direct ownership of the month‑end close and reconciliations
• Heavy exposure to grant accounting and compliance work, not solely GL maintenance
• Hands‑on involvement in fund accounting across multiple funds
• Broad accounting scope without being stretched across transactional tasks
• Stable, structured environment with established processes
• Opportunity to be a go‑to accounting resource for internal teams

• Manage month‑end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Track grant activity, monitor budgets, and prepare grant reports
• Support fund accounting and maintain the chart of accounts
• Prepare audit schedules and provide audit support
• Assist with financial reporting and accounting research
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong month‑end close and reconciliation background
• Advanced Excel skills
