The City of Fairview is seeking two energetic, organized, and enthusiastic Summer Program Supervisors to help lead our summer recreation and meal program. This seasonal position plays a key role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for youth and families while supervising staff, coordinating activities, and supporting daily meal site operations.

Position at a Glance- Department: Recreation
- Position Type: Seasonal/Temporary (Non-Benefited)
- Duration: Mid-June through Mid-August 2026
- Hours: Up to 150 total hours for the season
- Schedule: Primarily Monday–Thursday, approximately 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
- Location: Primarily Gresham and Fairview area recreation and summer meal sites.
- Salary:$22 per hour

Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a team of Seasonal Recreation Aides at summer youth program site.
- Plan and oversee engaging recreation activities, including sports, games, arts, and enrichment programs.
- Coordinate daily summer meal service operations while ensuring safety and program compliance.
- Create a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment for youth, families, and community members.
- Serve as the on-site leader by problem solving, supporting staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Act as a role model and mentor to youth, volunteers, and Park staff.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are desirable.
- Must successfully pass required background checks.
