Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP licensure (or eligibility) for the state
• Prior background working with school-aged children, ideally in a school environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for family and team collaboration
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance requirements
• Creative approach to therapy, adapting techniques for diverse needs and backgrounds
• Ability to organize schedules and document sessions efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in groups
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to optimize student progress
• Implement evidence-based interventions and regularly monitor progress
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to documentation required by the school
• Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development as needed
