CNC Machinist

We are an established manufacturer seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Oregon. This permanent position involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality heavy machinery components. The ideal candidate has deep machining knowledge, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to precision.

• Operate Fanuc CNC machines for drilling, grinding, milling, and other tasks.
• Interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings to understand specifications and desired results.
• Translate manufacturing instructions into CNC machine commands.
• Prepare, load, and secure raw materials and work pieces onto machines.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality requirements.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace in accordance with safety policies.
• Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and proper job sequencing.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• 2+ years experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role within manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Fanuc CNC machines and Fanuc software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mill and lathe operations.
• Expertise in machine programming and CNC operation.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong math skills.
• Detail-oriented, results-driven approach.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; engineering or relevant discipline certificate a plus.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.
