What You’ll DoAs an Assembly Associate II, you’ll work in our Plates area performing a variety of hands‑on tasks that keep production running smoothly. Your day may include:
- Handling materials using overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts, pallet jacks and electric pallet jacks
- Operating hydraulic presses, industrial ovens and leak‑testing equipment
- Applying rubber gaskets to new and customer plates
- Performing visual quality inspections
- Preparing plate packs and gaskets for shipment
- Keeping your work area clean and organized
- Accurately counting and recording parts
- Following written instructions and completing tasks efficiently
- Participating in safety and production improvement efforts
- Other duties as assigned

What You BringWe’re looking for someone who is dependable, safety‑minded and committed to doing quality work. You’ll be successful here if you have:
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with hydraulic presses, machining or tooling (preferred)
- High school diploma or GED (trade schooling a plus)
- Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills
- Basic math, reading and writing abilities
- Ability to follow directions and stay focused
- Willingness to work across a wide range of tasks
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Commitment to wearing PPE and following 5S principles
- Ability to perform repetitive work and lift up to 50 lbs
You should be comfortable with:
- Standing or walking for 8–10 hours
- Bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting
- Handling tools and materials throughout the day
- Lifting 50 lbs independently and 50–75 lbs with assistance
- Working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise, vibration and seasonal temperature changes
- Wearing PPE such as safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection
- Reading blueprints, labels, gauges and measurement tools
- Inspecting parts and listening for equipment cues
