What You'll Do

As a Frame Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in building and preparing plate heat‑exchanger units for our customers. This position combines mechanical assembly, quality inspection, material handling, and teamwork in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble heat‑exchanger frames using work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and bills of materials.
  • Complete quality inspections and testing using inspection sheets, specifications, and photographs.
  • Operate overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks.
  • Build skids and pallets and prepare equipment for shipment.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools safely and effectively.
  • Accurately count, document, and track components and materials.
  • Handle and maneuver large, heavy frame components.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
  • Support production needs and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Mechanically inclined with an interest in hydraulic assembly.
  • Experience using pneumatic, hand, and power tools.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow bills of materials.
  • Experience operating forklifts and cranes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and assignments.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade school or vocational education.
  • Experience with hydraulic systems and assemblies.
  • Advanced manufacturing or industrial assembly experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Working in and around large industrial equipment.
  • Working underneath and around confined assembly spaces.
  • Regular lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Following all safety guidelines and 5S workplace principles.
