Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator

FAIRVIEW, OR 97024

Pay Rate: $20-24/hr

Shift: 8am-4:30pm M-F

Key Responsibilities
Perform daily inventory control tasks, including receiving, put-away, stock rotation, and reconciliation
Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc cycle counts; investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
Create and process purchase orders in coordination with a centralized purchasing department
Communicate with local vendors regarding pricing, lead times, order status, and delivery issues
Maintain accurate records in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Oracle ERP systems
Track inbound and outbound shipments; ensure timely and accurate documentation
Support warehouse operations with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and reporting
Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Collaborate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and purchasing teams to ensure smooth workflow
Uphold safety standards and follow warehouse procedures

Skills & Qualifications
Experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse operations
Familiarity with purchasing or procurement processes
Proficiency with Microsoft OƯice (especially Excel)
Experience using Oracle or similar ERP systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Reliable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience coordinating with centralized purchasing teams
Vendor communication or procurement support experience
Basic knowledge of warehouse equipment and safety procedures
