Aboutthe Role
Working in our Technical Services mobile team on a Major Retail contract with opportunities to support other Commercial and Residential contracts in our continually expanding division.
Responsibilities- Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM), proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that customer expectations are met.
- Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship to ensure standards are met.
- Ensure equipment and surrounding areas conform to agreed company standards.
- Evaluate performance and ensure proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company.
- Work in a safe manner at all times, complying with current health and safety legislation.
- Contribute to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and participate in the delivery of service.
- Support the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
- Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota, on average 1 in 4 weeks.
- Previous experience working within facilities management is desirable.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Able to carry out basic IT tasks on handheld devices.
- A craft qualification such as a recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent (e.g., City & Guilds 2350 NVQ).
- Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering + AM2.
- Current wiring regulations qualification such as City & Guilds 2381-18 Level 3 Award (18th Edition) and a valid and in-date Grade card/CSCS Card or equivalent qualification.
- Inspection & Testing qualification such as City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations.
- Overtime available.
