Senior Program Coordinator
Boston University’s Office of the University Registrar seeks a Senior Program Coordinator for its Transfer Credit team. The role involves analyzing and processing transfer credit requests and test credit for all Boston University students. The ideal candidate has great attention to detail, is comfortable using software to help students plan their education, and possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.

Primary Duties- Provide programmatic and operational support with the Office of the University Registrar for reviewing and processing transfer credit requests and enforcing relevant policy.
- Manage daily workflows accurately.
- Provide data to senior managers as requested.
- Complete quality control checks in area of expertise.
- Communicate regularly and accurately with internal and external clients, including faculty and staff at other Boston University schools and colleges.
This role may cross‑train into related organizational areas to provide support at peak times. The Senior Program Coordinator works relatively independently but may seek assistance for complex tasks. They are expected to set priorities in consultation with others and maintain confidentiality of information.
OrganizationThe Office of the University Registrar is part of the Enrollment & Student Administration unit (ENSA). It supports instructional and student progress endeavors by providing quality services to students, faculty, academic and administrative departments, and the public, including registration, transfer credit evaluation, student record maintenance, transcript issuance, enrollment verification, diploma issuance, classroom assignment, class scheduling, final exam scheduling, and bulletin production.

- Remote work is dependent on performance and responsibility. The position is designated as remote‑local. The successful candidate must reside within a 3‑hour commuting distance of the University to attend occasional in‑person events as required.

- A Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of related experience are required.
- Experience with student information systems is a plus, but not required.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Can communicate effectively and diplomatically with people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Displays ability to work relatively independently, anticipate office needs, set priorities in consultation with others, and handle sensitive/confidential information appropriately.
