Peabody Properties is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant for an apartment community located in Dorchester, MA. The role supports the site Management Office by answering calls, handling resident issues, and expediting tasks to appropriate staff.

Responsibilities
  • Answer all calls promptly and courteously and refer to appropriate staff.
  • Open incoming mail and distribute to the appropriate staff.
  • Accept orders for maintenance problems/repairs, complete work order forms, and give them to the Service Manager.
  • Manage general office filing.
  • Provide assistance or coverage at other sister sites within the company portfolio as needed.
  • Perform any other duties assigned to facilitate effective site operations.
  • Take initiative and be self‑motivated.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of business experience providing clerical and administrative support.
  • Knowledge of Onesite preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
