Reporting to the VP of Facilities & Transportation, the full-time Receptionist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Lyndon Center headquarters of Cape Abilities. In addition, this position provides administrative and fundraising support as needed.
ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answers front desk phone and directs calls and other inquiries.
- Receive and process incoming donations.
- Administrative ad hoc support as needed.
Distribution and management of agency mail and messages
- Responsible for sorting and distributing mail.
- Serves as the point person for mailing and shipping needs for our Lyndon facility.
- Checks general office voicemail and forwards messages to their appropriate recipients or follows up with inquiries.
Oversight of daily operations of Lyndon Center
- Responsible for directing visitors and checking in appointments, including management of visitor and staff sign‑in sheets.
- Handles and delivers sensitive documents and mail, including sorting and logging checks and confidential forms.
