Position: Office Assistant (Ship's Cove)

Winn Companies is looking for an Office Assistant to join our team at Ship's Cove
, a 201-unit affordable housing community located in Fall River, MA
.

In this role, you will provide support to a designated department with daily administrative procedures and special projects. The ideal candidate will also handle front desk phones and incoming traffic of residents and prospective residents.

The pay range for this role is $20.00-$23.00 per hour
. The selected candidate will typically work Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and provide receptionist coverage.
  • Maintain office equipment (copier, postage meter, folding machine, etc.)
  • Pick up and distribute mail from post office.
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Collect and review new hire paperwork.
  • Place employment ads as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Basic familiarity with computer systems and web-based applications.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A welcoming, can-do attitude and a professional presence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications:
    Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint and knowledge of Org Plus 4.0.
