Overview

The primary purpose of the Payroll Operations Coordinator will be to complete payroll operations tasks that support the efforts of a variety of payroll activities/services. These services can include but are not limited to processes, systems, business administration and communication. This role will partner with the different functions within Business Services and the customers for timely execution of requests and to identify new opportunities to optimize processes.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting the daily operations of the payroll team and managing the resolution of all customer requests. Coordinate & finish incoming requests for their assigned services and systems
  • Provide expert support to the team of administrators and customers on assigned services and systems (SME), create and maintain standard methodologies in line with the customer needs and changing environment
  • Follow workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Coordinating activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company payroll policies
  • Engage with customers for a smooth and detailed process and resolution of their tickets/requests (over 200,000 associates)
  • Support Business Services related projects and initiatives, participate in process optimizations
  • Independently figure out and resolve problems within scope
  • Continuously look to optimize and improve assigned services based on customer needs
  • Fill in for the Supervisor, Payroll Operations in the absence of the supervisor
Requirements
  • Min 2 years of relevant experience in a payroll processing environment
  • Workflow, process and customer oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills
  • The ability to multi-task and demonstrate resiliency and high productivity in a fast-paced environment is required
  • Operating with a high sense of urgency while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
  • Strong understanding of PCC and ECP systems, with time reporting and HRIS systems experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
